Nelson C. Jacobson, Sr.
Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Nelson Jacobson leads the executive team and provides strategy development for JSJ Corporation. As the grandson of one of the founders, Alvin E. Jacobson, Sr., he joined JSJ in 1986 and quickly made his mark, leading JSJ’s global expansion in Asia, and deepening the commitment of JSJ-owned companies to entrepreneurship and innovation. Nelson began his career at the Dow Chemical Company and McKinsey & Company. He and his wife, Lana, live in Grand Haven and have three sons.
