Job Description
The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for resolving customer IT support requests for multiple sites. The position requires an individual who can prioritize, resolve, escalate, and route support requests for numerous IT services and applications. The Candidate will troubleshoot and resolve user requests pertaining to PC clients, MS operating systems, MS Office products, network services, remote network access, WAN, and email services.
Responsibilities include both on-site user support and remote desktop support, managing work priorities and documenting work activities using JSJ’s Help Desk system. This position requires regular interaction with customer groups and end-users at all levels.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year experience in PC desktop services
- Strong commitment to customer service and communication
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills and diverse technical capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Self-motivated and able to work as a member of a team and individually
- Ability to quickly grasp customer needs and apply appropriate technologies
- Able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and complete specified tasks on time
- Excellent team player who prefers a fast paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications
A+ certification or certifications in Microsoft systems preferred. Strong working knowledge of MS operating systems and office products. Hands on experience in resolving issues pertaining to PC hardware/software and MS operating systems.
