Green Manufacturer Earns International Certification
Hudson Technologies’ latest certification – ISO 14001:2004 – is for its Environmental Management System. Hudson Technologies, a JSJ business, manufactures deep drawn metal enclosures and stampings, including diaphragms.
According to the International Organization for Standards, ISO 14001:2004 certification helps assure employees, customers, suppliers, the community and regulatory agencies that the company is an environmentally responsible organization.
The ISO 14001:2004 standard is internationally recognized and requires a company to demonstrate a commitment to compliance with applicable environmental legislation and requirements, and a commitment to continual improvement. Hudson Technologies also holds ISO certification for its quality management system - ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003.
President Mark Andrews said, “This certification is the culmination of our efforts to become an environmentally sound company, efforts that began several years ago when we completely eliminated the use of chlorinated lubricants and solvents. We are very proud of the fact that our manufacturing process produces no hazardous waste.”
