GHSP Opens New Facility in Mexico

Mechatronics supplier GHSP has expanded its global manufacturing presence with the opening of a new, 2000 square-meter facility in Saltillo, Mexico. The Saltillo facility is the company’s newest, and it dramatically expands the company’s presence in Mexico.

“Our expansion in Mexico supports our global strategy,” said Paul Doyle, GHSP president and CEO. “We’ve been very successful in building relationships around the world by locating where our customers need us to be. Saltillo is an important part of that strategy.”

GHSP has been manufacturing in Mexico since 2008. The new facility will produce shift systems for GHSP's customers in Mexico and other mechatronic components for its global operations. When operating at full capacity, GHSP will employ nearly 250 people on three shifts in molding and assembly.

GHSP also manufactures shifters in West Michigan and Shanghai, China. In addition to shift systems, GHSP develops and produces smart actuators and electronic controls in West Michigan for global customers.
