Featuring: Standing Up to the World's Most Demanding Environments
From deep beneath the earth's crust, to inside the human body, to the far reaches of the solar system, seamless enclosures work in the some of the most demanding environments.
Design engineers turn to deep-drawn, or seamless, cases made by Hudson Technologies, when technology depends on a precision enclosure: in satellites, pacemakers and neurostimulators, relay switches, commercial batteries, aviation oxygen generators and more.

Our business vision? That our seamless metal enclosures will be vital to technological advancements that protect the environment, help people live a better quality of life and make alternative energy sources more efficient and affordable. "That's what really excites me," says Mark Andrews, president of Hudson Technologies. "Technology is driving us toward a better future. We're poised to be an important part of that."
Going Green
Hudson Technologies has converted its 115,000-square-foot facility to an environmentally sound aqueous, or water-based, cleaning system. The two-year, $2 million switch to biodegradable lubricants eliminated TCE (trichloroethylene), a hazardous solvent many manufacturers use to clean metal parts. Hudson Technologies continues to work with suppliers to develop even more effective solutions. "One of the biggest challenges of being a leader in greener manufacturing is that we don't have a road map. We are formulating new lubricants and using a cleaning process specifically tailored for our unique style of manufacturing," said Andrews.
Why did Hudson Technologies eliminate TCE when regulations allow its use? "Because it's the right thing to do," said Andrews. "Becoming environmentally friendly is good for everyone: our employees, the community and our customers. It's setting us apart and opening new doors of growth."
What's Next
Contrary to most reports on today's economy, Hudson Technologies is growing. "The image of manufacturing as an industry that's being left behind in a changing, high-tech world is a misperception. Nothing could be further from the truth," says Andrews. "Hudson Technologies is a vital part of new technologies and the kinds of products that are revolutionizing society."
